Vilarnau is a premium Cava producer located in the heart of the Penedès region near Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. Founded in 1949 and acquired by the family-owned González Byass group in 1982, the winery combines traditional bottle-fermented sparkling wine production with modern, sustainable winemaking. Vilarnau farms around 20 hectares of certified organic vineyards and is recognized for elegant, terroir-driven Cavas crafted from native grape varieties alongside Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The contemporary winery, opened in 2005, is a benchmark for sustainable design, renewable energy use and water conservation.
