The Flaschenpost Story It was a perfectly practical idea that provided the basis for Flaschenpost in 2006. University students and wine lovers Renzo Schweri and Dominic Blaesi were frustrated about having to spend so much time search different wine shops for their favorite wines. On top of that, delivery costs were starting to add up, but lugging heavy cases of wine around on public transport wasn't an option either. There had to be a way to use the Internet to make it easier! So the two students developed their idea of creating a place where people could easily order any wine in the world from one convenient source. An «Amazon for wine», so to speak.
